This interactive, online class provides a foundation for the study and practice of entrepreneurship. Through short lectures, in-class discussion, outside reading and concept validation, and Entrepreneur Story Time™ – an open discussion about how local entrepreneurs started, struggled and thrived – students will be well positioned to take their ideas to the next level.

You will earn a digital badge that verifies of achievement of the following skills:
- Understand why entrepreneurship is important
- Knowledge of the link between entrepreneurship, innovation, and productivity
- Understand the importance of concise idea descriptions
- Understand how to convey excitement about an idea
- Understanding of the Business Model Canvas

Sean O’Shea is the founder of HatchForm, LLC an economic development consulting firm based in Santa Fe, NM. In addition to his consulting practice Sean also founded Overbrook Strategy a tool for communities and organizations to create and implement strategic plans – currently in development. Prior to starting HatchForm and Overbrook Sean co-founded SciVista – a VR data visualization platform and was the program director at the Santa Fe Business Incubator. Sean serves on the City of Santa Fe’s Economic Development Advisory Committee and sits on Advisory Boards for Fairbikes- a bike share company in Fairbanks, AK and Honemoon Brewery – a hard kombucheria in Santa Fe, NM.
